Root Care ("we", "us") is building an early-access health service for mold-related illness. This policy explains what we collect through this website and our risk check, and how we handle it. It is written to align with the GDPR.

What we collect

• Contact details you give us: your name and email address.
• Risk-check responses: the symptoms, exposure, duration, location and prior-care answers you select, and the resulting risk snapshot. Some of this is health-related information.
• Optional region, so we understand where demand is coming from.
• Basic analytics (via PostHog, EU hosting): pages viewed and steps completed. We do not send your name or email to our analytics provider. Analytics only runs after you accept it in the consent banner; if you decline, no analytics cookies are set.

Why we use it & legal basis

We use your information to send you early-access updates, to understand demand for the service, and to improve the product. Our legal basis is your consent, which you give when you submit the risk check. You can withdraw it at any time.

Where it's stored & who processes it

Submissions are stored in our database provider, Supabase. Analytics are processed by PostHog. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data, or to stop contacting you. Email hello@rootcare.eu and we'll take care of it.
